Over the past three weeks, I've had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Westerville Chamber of Commerce's Election Academy. Wow! I've been involved in campaigns before but never as the candidate. Let me just say that campaign finance laws are serious business! That means that I owe a huge thank you to my campaign treasurer, Lesley Walden--she's the one doing all of the really hard work! I'm grateful every day for Lesley and other deeply committed volunteers we have in Westerville City Schools. Thanks for all you do, Lesley!
